AI Property Intelligence

AI property intelligence that does the data entry

The reason home records stay empty is that filling them in is tedious. Habyn reads a receipt, recognises an appliance from a photo, and answers questions from the manual, so the record builds itself as you go.

    Best for

Homeowners and landlords who will not do data entry

Parse a receipt into an asset with its cost and date

Ask a question and get the answer from the manual

Classify a maintenance request from a tenant's description

Every home record system fails for the same reason

Not because people do not see the value, but because the value arrives years later and the typing is required today. Nobody photographs a receipt, types the model number, finds the install date and files the manual for a dishwasher they just bought. So the record stays empty and the system gets abandoned. Habyn's approach is to remove the typing rather than to nag about it. Point the camera at a receipt and it becomes a dated asset with a cost. Photograph an appliance and it is recognised. Ask what the error code means and the answer comes from the manual you already uploaded. The record fills as a by-product of ordinary life.

    How it works

    1. 1

      It reads your documents

Receipts become assets with costs and dates. Lease documents are reviewed for what they contain. The document you were going to file anyway becomes structured data.

    2. 2

      It recognises what it sees

A photo of an appliance or a label can create the asset, so adding something to the record is a picture rather than a form.

    3. 3

It answers from your own records

Ask about an appliance and the answer comes from its manual. Ask why a forecast says what it says and it explains the reasoning rather than showing a number.

    4. 4

It helps with the rental work too

Maintenance requests are classified from a tenant's description, applications get summarised, and reply suggestions are drafted from the thread.

    What it actually does today

This is not a roadmap section. These capabilities are built into the platform and in use: receipt parsing into assets, appliance recognition from a photo, question answering against an appliance manual, maintenance classification from free text, income extraction from documents, lease review, applicant summarisation, reply suggestions and forecast explanation. They are ordinary features rather than a separate AI product.

    • Receipt parsing into dated assets
    • Asset creation from a photo
    • Appliance manual question answering
    • Maintenance request classification
    • Lease review and applicant summaries

Intelligence on top of your record, not instead of it

The useful thing about a model working over your own property record is that it is grounded in your house rather than in general advice. A forecast that knows your furnace is fourteen years old is more useful than an article about furnace lifespans. An answer drawn from your appliance's manual beats a search result about a different model. The record is what makes the intelligence specific.

    • Grounded in your property, not general advice
    • Forecasts that reflect your systems and their ages
    • Answers drawn from your own documents
    • Explanations, not just outputs
    • Gets more useful as the record fills

    Where we hold the line

AI writes the draft, it does not make the decision. A classification can be corrected. An extracted receipt can be edited before it is saved. Nothing about your property is shared to make a feature work, and the record stays yours. We would rather ship fewer capabilities that behave predictably than a system that is confidently wrong about your house.

    • You confirm what gets saved
    • Extractions are editable before they land
    • Explanations show the reasoning
    • Your records are not someone else's training data
    • Fewer features, predictable behaviour

    Manual data entry vs Habyn

The difference is not how much the software can store. It is whether the record ever actually gets filled in, which is where every previous attempt at this has died.

Built in Canada, grounded in your property

Habyn is built in Canada with deep Ontario coverage, and the intelligence layer runs on the record you already keep: your appliances, your documents, your maintenance history, your costs. It is included rather than sold separately, because a home record that requires an hour of typing is a home record nobody keeps. Start with the property you live in, free, and let the record build itself.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is this a chatbot?

No. These are specific capabilities inside the workflows you already use: parsing a receipt you upload, recognising an appliance you photograph, answering from a manual you stored, classifying a request a tenant sent. There is no separate assistant to go and talk to.

Does Habyn use my property data to train models?

Your records are yours. The features work over your own property record to produce answers specific to your house, which is the point of them. We do not treat customer records as a training corpus.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

You correct it. Extractions and classifications are drafts that you confirm before they are saved, and anything saved can be edited afterwards. The design assumption is that the model helps with the typing and you stay responsible for the record.

Is AI included in the free Home plan?

The homeowner capabilities are part of the product rather than a separate purchase. The Home plan covers the property you live in with no card and no time limit, and you move to a paid plan when you rent a unit out.
